Hello~ how can i install gitpod on my linux server?

I want to use docker,but there isn’t have a “readme.md” :sob:

Hi @gitldy1013,

First of all, Gitpod is a Kubernetes application. Our documentation to install Gitpod on a Kubernetes cluster is here: https://www.gitpod.io/docs/self-hosted/latest/self-hosted/

However, we have also a Docker image that has a k3s Kubernetes cluster included with Gitpod here: https://github.com/gitpod-io/gitpod/tree/master/install/docker/
There are also some example `docker-compose.yml´ files. You’ll find some examples and hints on how to run this when you search here in the community forum and in the issue tracker at https://github.com/gitpod-io/gitpod/issues. A documentation will follow soon.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

How big is your hard disk ?

@hm2075 Please provide the output of

$ docker-compose exec gitpod kubectl get pods

we can close this

i managed to get things running on kubernetes (centos)
both v0.5.0 and one of your latest branches, i will provide detailed instructions for the community,
starting from a clean centos 8 build, installing kubernetes, mysql minio and ofcourse gitpod

i am making good progress, only issue I am finding is the inability to install extensions on both 0.5.0 and any of your new builds. issue logged in another thread
